About Pricinger
Built by hosts, for hosts.
A transparent, friendly way to price short-term rentals — born in Greece, made for hosts everywhere.
Our story
We're Nikos and Spyros — two friends who grew up together on Rhodes, a Greek island where hospitality isn't just an industry, it's part of who we are. Tourism shapes our economy, our towns, and the daily lives of countless families who open their doors to guests from around the world.
We host Airbnbs too. And every week, the same routine: open three browser tabs, scroll through competing listings, eyeball calendars, take a guess, update the price, hope for the best. A booking comes in down the street — should we move our weekend rate? Maybe. Probably. Who has time to check?
We wanted a better answer than gut feeling. So we started building Pricinger for ourselves, on the side — a tool that does the watching for us, shows us the market the moment it shifts, and explains every suggestion in plain numbers. The more we used it, the more we realized every host we knew was stuck in the same loop. What began as a weekend project for two became a full-time mission for many — a pricing platform that gives hosts their evenings back.
What we believe
Three ideas guide every decision we make about Pricinger.
Transparency
Every price suggestion comes with the data behind it — the comp set, the demand signals, the recent bookings nearby. You see exactly what we see, so you can trust the number or tweak it with confidence.
Empowerment
You know your listing better than any algorithm. Pricinger does the watching and the math; you stay in the driver's seat — set the strategy, override when you want, and reclaim the hours you used to spend second-guessing.
Built by hosts
We run Pricinger on our own listings before anyone else sees it. If a feature doesn't save us time or earn us more bookings, it doesn't ship.
Meet the founders
Two co-founders who got tired of pricing their own listings by hand.

Nikos Soulounias
Co-founder
Nikos studied Computer Science at NKUA, graduating top of his department, then joined Demokritos as an AI researcher before two scholarships took him to Stanford for an MSc in Artificial Intelligence. Along the way he picked up distinctions across different corners of the field — robotics, speech, language, and AI infrastructure — and pricing turns out to draw on all of them. Reading a market is handling noisy, partial signals like a perception system; forecasting demand is sequence modeling under another name; and making it all run the moment a booking lands down the street is an infrastructure problem before it's a math one.

Spyros Tsattalios
Co-founder
Spyros came to Pricinger the long way round. He trained as a Civil Engineer at NTUA, and somewhere in the middle of an optimization-heavy thesis he realized he was more interested in the code than the concrete — a turn that led to a research role at NTUA, where the predictive models he built still help EYDAP manage Athens' water supply today. Coronavirus lockdowns turned that curiosity into a craft: he taught himself software engineering from the ground up, started an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Piraeus, and then happily walked away from it when Pricinger turned from side-project into something real. Pricing, it turns out, is just optimization with better stories — and the same modeling discipline that keeps a city's water flowing now keeps hosts a step ahead of their market.
