Everything you need to know about how Pricinger works.

Getting started

What is Pricinger?

Pricinger combines dynamic pricing and market intelligence in one platform. Instead of paying for a pricing tool and an analytics tool separately, you get nightly price recommendations and the market data behind them in the same place.

Who is Pricinger for?

Short-term rental hosts and property managers, anywhere in the world — from a single apartment to a portfolio of several hundred listings. It suits you best if you want to understand why a price is what it is, rather than just accept it.

Do I need a PMS to use Pricinger?

Not for Market Insights — once you have an account you can explore any market with no listing connected and no setup at all. You do need a connected PMS for Pricinger to push recommended prices to your channels automatically.

How long does setup take?

Minutes. Connect your PMS, and your listings and their calendars import automatically — there is no manual data entry and no onboarding project.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. Market Insights is free forever with no card on file, and the Pro trial runs 14 days before you decide anything.

What support do you offer?

Email. Send us a question through the contact form and a person answers it — there is no ticket queue and no chatbot in between.

Pricing & billing

How much does Pricinger cost?

Dynamic pricing starts at €12.99 per listing per month and the rate drops as you add listings — down to under €5 for large portfolios. There is no setup fee and no hidden cost; the pricing page has a calculator that shows your exact monthly total.

What's included in the Free plan?

Market Insights, in full and forever: every market worldwide, rebuilt daily, with performance trends, supply and rental mix, and the top property managers operating there. No card, no trial clock.

What does a competitor set cost?

€7.49 per competitor set per month, flat — it does not change with how many listings you have or how many competitors you put in the set.

Do I pay for listings I'm not pricing?

No. You pay only for the listings Pricinger actually prices, so you can keep a listing in your account without paying for it.

When am I billed, and how?

Monthly, in advance, by card. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

What if I remove a listing mid-month?

Your next invoice is prorated to reflect it. Remove a listing and you stop paying for it from that point, without waiting for the cycle to end.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, anytime, from your account settings. There is no contract, no minimum term, and no cancellation fee.

How pricing works

How does Pricinger decide a price?

Pricinger builds a set of listings that genuinely compete with yours, then reads what is happening to them — their nightly rates across every OTA, which nights are filling, and how fast. That local demand signal, combined with your own listing's position in the market, produces a recommended price for each night.

How often do prices update?

Every day. Markets, competitor prices and recommendations are all rebuilt daily, so what you see reflects the market now rather than last season.

Can I override a recommendation?

Always. Recommendations are a starting point, not a mandate — set minimums and maximums, adjust individual nights, or override any price you disagree with.

What is a competitor set?

A group of listings you choose as your real competition. Pricinger tracks each of them daily against your listing: their prices on every channel, the nights they get booked, and what they earn for them.

Why can I see the logic behind a price?

Because a price you cannot explain is a price you cannot trust. Every recommendation comes with the comparable listings and market data behind it, so you can check the reasoning instead of taking it on faith.

How is this different from Airbnb's Smart Pricing?

Smart Pricing only sees Airbnb, and it does not show you what it based a price on. Pricinger compares rates across Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia and Agoda, works regardless of which channels you sell on, and shows you the data behind every number.

Integrations & data

Which PMSes can I connect?

Hosthub and Hospitable are live today, with several more on the way — the integrations page lists every platform we support and its current status.

Which OTAs do you track prices from?

Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia and Agoda. Rates are compared side by side, so you see what a competitor charges everywhere rather than on the one site you happened to check.

My PMS isn't listed — what now?

Tell us. Get in touch and we will let you know where it sits on our roadmap — which integrations we build next is driven largely by what people ask for.

Where does your market data come from?

From the OTAs themselves. Pricinger reads publicly listed prices, availability and listing details across the major channels every day, and rebuilds each market from that.

How accurate is your market data?

Prices and availability are read directly from the listings, so what you see is what guests see. Bookings are inferred from calendars going unavailable, which is the standard method in this industry and an estimate rather than a transaction record — we would rather tell you that than quote an accuracy percentage.

Is my data secure, and where is it stored?

Pricinger is based in Greece, and our analytics and error-monitoring tools run in their EU regions. We collect only what the product needs, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time — our privacy policy sets out what we hold and where it may be processed.
