Set seasonal prices and date overrides
Your annual settings apply all year. When part of the year needs different rules, add a season. When only a few dates need something different, use a date override.
Add a season
- Open the Pricing Dashboard, select your listing and go to the Customize tab.
- Select the settings you want to change for the season, such as Price Rules or Stay Restrictions.
- Switch to Seasonal and select Add Seasonal Plan.
- Under Season Dates, pick the season's first and last day, then fill in the settings you want to change.
- Select Save plan.
Each settings tile keeps its own seasons, so a summer season under Price Rules doesn't change your stay rules. A season repeats every year on the same dates and has to fit inside one calendar year. For a winter season over New Year, add one season that ends on 31 December and another that starts on 1 January. Seasons in the same tile can't overlap.
A season without dates or settings is marked Incomplete. If you choose Save anyway when you save, Pricinger discards it.
What a season can change
- Price Rules: a Min Price and Max Price for the season. Your base price stays your annual one, but a seasonal minimum can sit above it, for example to keep a busy summer from selling cheap. See how to set your base, minimum and maximum prices.
- Stay Restrictions: a Minimum Stay and Gap Minimum Stay for the season. Any Time-Based Minimum Stays you set still take priority.
- Check-in / Check-out: the days of the week guests can arrive or leave.
- Pricing Strategy and Gap Price Adjustments: see how to choose a pricing strategy and how to fill gap nights.
During its dates, a season takes priority over your annual settings. Each season also has Settings by Day of Week, which take priority over the season's main settings. In Price Rules, Stay Restrictions and Check-in / Check-out, anything you leave empty keeps your annual setting. If a date ends up with a minimum price above its maximum, the minimum wins.
Change specific dates
- Open your listing, go to the Calendar tab and select a date.
- Under Override Dates, pick the dates you want to change.
- Under Price, choose Set price to, Increase price by or Decrease price by and type the amount. Under Minimum Stay, choose Set min nights to and type the nights.
- Select Save changes.
A percentage change applies to Pricinger's price for the date, and the minimum and maximum for that date still apply. A price you set with Set price to is used exactly as you enter it, and a minimum stay you set replaces your seasonal and annual ones for those dates. Booked and blocked dates are skipped. To remove an override, pick the dates again and choose Clear override.
